a kid at camp, never the Lindworm
Today I was a kid, with other kids, in charge of even younger kids, and there's something horrible in the forest.1 This is one of the best experiences of our lives, but we will never play pretend in this way again. Things got too powerful, too quickly, and we had a lot of emotions, especially one friend.
It is June 2023. If anything, it brings us closer.
