a house, a house, and a house again
Today, I was many things. The world is still a weird place, and I keep running away from it. I was an accidental cop (paladin) inspired by a vampire,1 in a very gruesome house.2 Then I was a whole haunted house myself, but a different one,3 and will be the same house again at least two more times. I start meeting more and more people, some internationally, from previous lives.
It's 2020, going into 2021, and eventually 2022. I'm not sure why I chose a paladin.
Not sure what I was thinking, but the character arc was clear: doubt, subversion, disruption. The character inspiration was Maladict, from Monstrous Regiment.↩
I ended up sacrificing myself to save the group through Death House (from Curse of Strahd).↩
Without exaggeration, House of Lament from Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft is still my favourite "module" for 5e.↩
